Features

Before starting operation, make sure that:
The vehicle's auxiliary brake is engaged;
The vehicle's engine is running;
The DPM access door is open;
The operator has a clear view of the operation to ensure user safety;
There are no people or obstacles in the equipment's operating area.

After checking the conditions and with the locking devices unlocked for operation, the operator positioned outside the vehicle removes the control from the receptacle and turns the control switch to the “on” position, which lights up an LED light indicating that the DPM is in operation. The operator rotates the seat 90°, and the equipment's functions are enabled from the moment the seat base is rotated out of the vehicle. Then, the operator must press the red button on the remote control to ensure the correct position of the lock release and then unlock the mobile base lock. Now, using the remote control, press the green button to start the mobile base moving out of the vehicle.

With the chair extended, the user must position themselves in the chair with their lower limbs resting on the DPM footrest, with the seat belts and ankle straps fastened. After boarding, the operator presses the red button that returns the base of the equipment to the transport position inside the vehicle, rotating it 90° when it is level with the vehicle floor.

Then, the operator then turns the control switch to the “off” position, turning off the LED, indicating that the DPM's functions are disabled.

IMPORTANT: The control commands are pulse-type, meaning that the DPM only executes movements while the control buttons are held down. When the buttons are released, the DPM stops moving.
