Features
The vehicle platform operates on the principle of vertical movement, where the electrically powered drive system moves the platform from floor level to the level of the vehicle's interior floor. The equipment is operated by remote control, which may only be used by authorized personnel. The downward movement is also performed by activating the control, in which case gravity is responsible for this movement.
This platform has a system that prevents upward operation when the permissible working load has been exceeded. In addition, there is also a safety lock, which is automatically activated in the event of a break in the lifting strap.
In the semi-automatic model, the platform is opened and closed manually by the operator, while in the automatic model, this operation is also performed by the control panel.
The platform is designed for loading and unloading only one user per operating cycle. If the user is a wheelchair user, they must position themselves with the wheelchair facing out of the vehicle. Users with reduced mobility should position themselves in the center of the platform and hold on to the equipment's handrails while the platform is in motion.
The control panel must be removed from the bracket located on the right side of the lift. To enable the control functions, use the lift key, which must be kept by the professionals responsible for the operation. When the key is turned, the LED indicating that the lift is in use will light up. If this does not occur, it may indicate a fault in the electrical system.
When operations are complete, and with the elevator in its transport position (staircase), the key must be slid and removed.
